Richard Mulcahy, Chairman
A successful entrepreneur, Richard Mulcahy has 20 years' experience in the manpower industry. After extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Richard managed Swift Technical for many years, growing the company to become one of the leading international providers of manpower services to the Oil and Gas industry. Bolashak is privileged to be able to draw upon Richard’s knowledge of the international Oil and Gas industry. His success and experience as a high-profile executive in the manpower service sector are a great asset in developing and implementing Bolashak’s strategy for growth.
Andrew MacKinnon, Managing Director
Appointed Managing Director in January 2008, Andy joined Bolashak in October 2007. Andy’s unique blend of experience in Kazakhstan and the recruitment sector means that he is ideally placed to drive the business forward. Andy arrived into Kazakhstan in 1995 and was successfully employed in several managerial positions for Oil and Gas service companies. From 2001, Andy was responsible for developing the business of a newly established Joint Venture between an major international manpower company and a local partner in Kazakhstan, and was instrumental in establishing and growing their position in Kazakhstan. After that, Andy enjoyed another successful period as Managing Director of a supply chain service provider, before leaving to join Bolashak.
Chris Weldon, Technical Director
Chris Weldon is an Electrical and Instrumentation engineer, with 25 years experience in the international construction and petrochemical industries. Chris spent over ten years working on construction projects in Africa, before moving to the CIS in the mid-1990s, gaining extensive experience of business in the former Soviet Union and becoming a Russian speaker. Chris took over the role of Managing Director of Bolashak, when it was formed in 2000, developing Bolashak’s position to become the leading provider of manpower services in Kazakhstan. Chris has latterly taken over the role of Technical Director, to focus on developing Bolashak's commissioning, inspection and other technical services.
Tim Bentham, Commercial Director
Tim Bentham is a graduate with over 15 years’ experience working for service providers to the Oil and Gas industry in Kazakhstan. Tim is a fluent Russian speaker, and has gained a wide knowledge of doing business in the former Soviet Union, specializing in particular in Kazakhstan. Having spent seven years managing commercial and administration activities for an Oil and Gas support services provider in Kazakhstan, Tim entered the Oil and Gas recruitment industry in 2000. Tim was appointed as Commercial Director of Bolashak when it was formed in 2001, and since then, has been responsible for the management of all commercial operations and contract administration of the business from its establishment to its current position as market leader in Kazakhstan.
Trevor Massie, Group Finance Director
Trevor Massie is an accountant, with over 25 years’ experience in financial management, accounting and reporting. Trevor spent the first twleve years of his career in project accounting roles in the UK for Oil and Gas majors and related service companies. This was followed by a move to Kazakhstan in 1994, to take on a series of positions as Financial Controller and Finance Manager for several large international support service companies, contracted to clients in the Oil and Gas sector. Trevor moved into the Kazakhstan manpower industry in 2002, having been appointed Finance Manager with an international manpower company, which had recently established a joint venture in Kazakhstan. Trevor joined Bolashak in early 2008, and, drawing upon his international and Kazakhstan-based financial management experience, he has provided strong financial stewardship during an exceptional period of growth in Bolashak’s history.
Jason Goodall, Operations and Development Director
A qualified Mechanical Designer, Jason spent the first 8 years of his career working in mechanical design roles for John Brown Engineering. Jason then moved into recruitment, utilizing his technical skills and experience in sourcing technical personnel for the Oil and Gas and engineering industries. Jason spent eight years working for a major international supplier of manpower to the Oil and Gas industry, including six years as Recruitment and Development Manager in Kazakhstan, before taking on the role of HR Advisor for Agip KCO in Kazakhstan. Jason joined Bolashak in April 2009 and, with his background in engineering and recruitment from the perspective of both contractor and client, brings with him a unique combination of experience across all levels of the industry.
