Bolashak was the first company to be established as
a specialist provider of manpower services to the Oil
and Gas industry in Kazakhstan, and our business grew
rapidly, providing both expatriate and national manpower
to all the major international oil and gas projects
in Kazakhstan.
Bolashak holds manpower supply contracts on all the
major petrochemical projects in Western Kazakhstan.
Our current Clients include, among others: Agip KCO,
Tengizchevroil, BG, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating,
GPS, Parsons Fluor Daniel, Fluor Daniel Caspian Services,
Boskalis, Kellogg Brown and Root, Ondeo Nalco, Schneider
Electrics.
We are able to supply both technical and non-technical
personnel from a full range of disciplines covering
engineering, design, construction, commissioning, maintenance,
operations, drilling, geology and exploration, project
controls, finance, legal, human resources, administration
and logistics support.
RECRUITMENT
Bolashak
has a team of recruitment staff with a proven record
of success in ensuring that the personnel proposed for
vacancies have the relevant skills and qualifications
coupled with the appropriate industry experience.
Meeting our Clients’ needs is the key element of our
manpower services. We assign dedicated recruitment personnel
to each of our Clients, whose initial task is to establish
a full understanding of our Clients’ manpower requirements.
Our dedicated recruitment staff manage all elements
of recruitment and candidate search including co-ordination
with Clients on HR requirements, CV collection and assessment,
screening, telephone and person-to-person interviewing,
co-operation with educational institutes, targeted recruitment
trips to areas around Kazakhstan, job advertising in
strategic locations around Kazakhstan
To source the best possible personnel we utilize a
database with over 20,000 registered candidates. This,
in conjunction with our regional offices throughout
Kazakhstan, a large resource of personnel who have already
worked for us, and a widespread reputation throughout
Kazakhstan gives us access to a strong network of personnel.
A COMPLETE MANPOWER SERVICE
Recruitment
is only the first element in our manpower services.
Some of our Clients opt to employ personnel directly
themselves, and we provide a recruitment service only,
but the majority of our Clients prefer to take advantage
of the complete manpower service that we offer which
covers all aspects of employing personnel in Kazakhstan
and elsewhere, including:
• Mobilization and orientation. We take care of all
aspects of mobilizing and orientation from selection
of personnel to starting work on site. We ensure personnel
are fully briefed and issued with all orientation material
prior to mobilization.
• Logistics and travel. For many of our Clients, we
organize all travel arrangements, both for rotational
requirements and business trips. We have excellent relationships
with travel agents in Kazakhstan and in the United Kingdom.
• Visas and work permits. Bolashak is fully licensed
to employ expatriates in Kazakhstan, and to employ Kazakhstan
personnel overseas. Processing work permits and visas
can be a lengthy and complicated process. Bolashak has
many years experience in the organization of work permits
and visas for large numbers of expatriates, both for
our own personnel and on behalf of other companies.
We are fully acquainted with all the procedures, and
have good contacts with all the appropriate authorities.
• Payroll and taxation. We have a dedicated payroll
department in our offices in Atyrau and have payrolled
up to almost 2,000 employees at peak. We take care of
all aspects of payroll and taxation, including income
tax registration, social tax registration, pension administration,
calculation and reporting of all taxes, filing of annual
tax returns. We have developed a payroll system utilizing
Roberston and Blums software, which allows us to payroll
personnel in all major currencies (US dollar, pounds
sterling, Euro, tenge) and producing reports and payslips
in Russian and English.
• All aspects of labour legislation compliance. Bolashak
has the expertise and resource to manage all compliance
and regulatory affairs related to the employment of
expatriates and nationals in Kazakhstan and we have
a legal department to manage this aspect of our business.
• Insurance and emergency medical cover. We carry Employer’s
and Public liability Insurance, as well as Automobile
Insurance required for personnel driving vehicles in
Kazakhstan, and emergency medical cover.
• Accommodation, PPE, and, if required, tools and equipment.
OUTSOURCING
Because of the complications involved in employing
personnel in Kazakhstan, our Clients often like to outsource
the employment of personnel, that they have sourced
themselves, to Bolashak.
This allows our Client to concentrate on its core activities,
and means we take over full responsibility for all aspects
of employing the personnel in Kazakhstan.
TRAINING
Bolashak can arrange training for the personnel it
provides to its Clients. We have a network of training
providers that we can utilize for training ranging from
general skills such as English and general safety awareness
to more specialized technical courses.
