Terms and Conditions
Represent the Company in dealings with governmental authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as with individuals and legal entities regardless of their legal or ownership structure.
Responsible for managing all phases of the project—from pre-FEED and FEED through detailed design, execution, integration, installation, and commissioning.
Conduct interviews and staff the subproject team with qualified personnel.
Participate in the development and implementation of project management procedures from both technical and commercial perspectives.
Establish and coordinate collaboration with cross-functional departments including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, HSE, and Quality—both within the Company and with contractors.
Manage the conclusion, administration, and compliance monitoring of EPC contracts.
Oversee acceptance and handover of work under EPC contracts.
Participate in vendor selection, contract preparation, and execution.
Manage contractual change orders.
Take part in crash procurement and monitor equipment/materials delivery timelines.
Monitor and control the procurement plan and its execution by contractors.
Oversee contractors' timely material/equipment readiness for construction and commissioning (including delivery scheduling, work front availability, punch list resolution, crash procurement as needed).
Conduct technical audits, inspections, and monitor local content compliance in procurement.
Develop and implement the project budget, cost estimate, and project scheduling model; manage their monitoring, execution, and change control.
Ensure contractors comply with reporting requirements and deadlines.
Ensure full operability of all facilities and resolve all commercial matters—providing continuous oversight and support until final completion, and ensuring smooth handover to operations.
Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule, covering contract awards, organizational readiness, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), commissioning, start-up, and other related activities.
Organize, manage, and supervise execution of construction and installation works (CIW) by contractors within established timelines.
Manage construction contracts and changes (variation orders).
Sign and validate construction-related documentation, including:
• design documentation;
• incoming inspection reports of project materials and equipment;
• as-built technical documentation;
• work acceptance certificates.
Coordinate and ensure preparation of regular progress reports and presentations (including for the Board of Directors, if applicable).
Provide progress and performance reporting when required.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal Company procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Education:
Higher (or postgraduate) technical education in engineering or construction.
A Master's degree in Management, Economics, Finance, or an MBA is preferred.
Additional Professional Training:
Certification in IPMA or PMP is preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the implementation of EPC/EPCM projects in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
