Terms and Conditions
Ensure the uninterrupted operation and technically correct maintenance of water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, water reuse systems, water supply and sewerage systems; Monitor and coordinate the work of TCO Operations Utility Outsourcing (OUO) business partners at Tengiz to ensure adherence to water treatment technologies and compliance with quality standards, rules, regulations, and approved methods and procedures; Coordinate and report on all work related to water quality control and laboratory testing for potable water and wastewater treatment processes, including monitoring of environmental reporting and database maintenance; Promote systematic management of safety, environmental protection, health, reliability, and efficiency in support of achieving world-class performance in alignment with TCO's Production Optimization Strategy; Interface with government regulatory authorities to define and ensure compliance with applicable requirements; Coordinate and align regulatory inspection activities and requirements with other disciplines and all business partners in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Collaborate with government inspectors and services during site visits and inspections; Monitor potable water consumption and perform calculations for forecasting and planning; Ensure high-quality performance of water treatment, disinfection, and daily laboratory testing; Verify the presence of all required documentation at the site from business partners (visitor logs, operation logs, safety briefing logs, chemical/material usage logs, etc.); Participate in the Safe Work Behavior Program; Conduct safety meetings, inspections, audits, walkthroughs, and incident investigations; Maintain records of incidents and conduct hazard analyses; Keep track of inspections, reports, corrective actions, and deficiencies resolved; Prepare reports and summaries following inspections; Ensure the completion of all identified deficiencies in the work performed by business partners and provide regular reporting; Review water quality control programs and execution methods provided by business partners; Participate in the acceptance of new facilities, equipment, and post-repair activities; inspect systems and documentation; participate in technical and working commissions; compile punch lists; Provide management with reports on the quality of treated water (potable and wastewater) and treatment process efficiency, including site-wide water consumption data; Support and participate in the Incident Investigation Process and the Permit-to-Work system; Develop inspection plans (schedules); Define scopes of work; Develop operating instructions, step-by-step procedures, process regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs); participate in their implementation, review, and revision; Prepare work requests for execution; Prepare purchase requests for materials, chemicals, tools, and laboratory instruments required for operations; Organize and participate in site walkthroughs during tender processes; Assist in ensuring timely training, briefings, and knowledge checks for business partner personnel; Monitor the rational use of materials, chemicals, tools, and other resources by business partners’ personnel; Organize timely and quality equipment repairs; oversee the technical condition, proper maintenance, and material use for repair activities; Develop and implement measures to prevent unplanned equipment shutdowns; Participate in inventory checks of production assets, identify obsolete equipment and facilities requiring capital repairs; Develop and conduct quality assurance checks at facilities to ensure compliance with project specifications and operational regulations; Develop and revise technical operation rules and work instructions; conduct briefings to ensure clear understanding and adherence to work quality requirements at the site; Participate in the preparation of tender documentation (scope of work, technical evaluation matrix) within the tendering process.
Education: Higher technical education. Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities, or a recent graduate with a degree in a water management–related field.
