• Supervise on-site operations to drill / complete / perform workover / well intervention with CT, WL, SL / well flowback on new and existing wells. Serve as the on-site person in change (Facility Owner). Give work direction to various business partner personnel to accomplish objectives of the well work program. Ensure business partner personnel follow WellSafe (Well Control Process Safety) requirements and manage SIMOPS on site. Develop Plan of Actions (POA) for upcoming operation. • Utilize various engineering tools, technical standards, requirements including hydraulics, drill string design, torque and drag, well control calculations, tubing movement considerations, cement placement, strength of materials, etc. • Manages drilling support inventory requirements and transportation of all equipment for on-site operations. Utilize TCO and business partner resources to ensure all equipment and material are delivered on location when needed. • Reports daily operations and all associated supporting reports using the Drilling Information Systems (WellView) software. Perform accounting functions for cost control and material / equipment management for each well. • Provides support and serve on project teams as required. Work with Drilling Engineer and Drilling Superintendent to identify and implement process improvements, including drilling and completion optimization. • Contributes to maintaining an incident free operation which is in support of and in compliance with our Protecting People and the Environment policy. Responsible to lead and fully administer the safety program on-site including training assurance, safety meetings, assurance procedures, incident investigations, drills, and preparation of all required reports.
• Higher (engineering degree) • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel and MS Teams and Outlook is required. • A minimum of 5 years of prior Drilling & Completions industry experience (Drilling Representative / Company Man / Drilling Supervisor, Field Drilling Engineer for an Oil and Gas company). • Familiarity with oilfield equipment and services used in well work operations would be highly desirable. • Familiarity with Chevron/TCO Wells standards (SOP, RP requirements) is preferred • The successful candidate must be familiar with RoK legislation, Well Construction Project Development and Execution workflow (generic), Risk Management Process and Management of Change Process. • The candidate will be required to take and pass an International Association of Drilling Contractors well control certification course and maintain certification for the duration of employment. • Teamwork attributes are extremely important. Willingness to perform a broad scope of work as required is essential.
