Terms and Conditions
• Electrical and Protection design review; • Checking initial protection study for HV /MV / LV; • Review KPJV design (for each MCC) – loop diagrams, settings report, Relay Setting Matrix SOW for SEL; • Review and verify the final configuration SEL files for protection equipment (totally there are 14 000 greenfield electrical units for configuration); • Interface with ETL and Reliability team; • Synchronization tasks solving including constant connection between existing Power system equipment and new unit/equipment/facility; • Validation of proposed Protection design changes, analyses and verification; • E-Tap modeling and Arc Flash scope, including protection coordination study analyses, calculation and detailed reporting experience; • Protection queries response; • Coordination of interfaces with key Base Business Power and Reliability Stakeholders; • Participation in Troubleshooting, Electrical / Protection incident’ investigation, RCA review and discussion; • Coordination Engineering analyses, decisions making and activities with FGP central engineering team; • Risks analyses connected to Electrical/Power/Protection scope; • Support of commissioning activities, RFI/RIMS decision analyses, redline markups and close-out Protection activities support.
• Electrical Degree and Electrical protection specialization is required; • 7-10+ years relevant Oil and Gas industry experience; • Engineering or Design Experience or Commissioning Experience in protection for HV / LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, standby diesel generators; • Able to summarize status effectively and remain flexible in how to execute scope to implement, tuning and complete the settings; • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities in Protection Areas; • Good communicator – effectively communicate at all levels and on complex topics; • Ability to understand scope and schedule requirements and how to influence work through others to resolve issues, predict risks, and deliver on-time, without shutdown, and safely; • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve to project issues and problems. Innovative thinker, with an ability to develop creative engineering solutions; • Ability to identify organizational challenges and manage stakeholder expectations; • Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to supporting safe work practices and Incident and Injury Free (IIF) initiatives.
