Roads coordinator

Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, TCO departments service requests, RoK legislation and regulations in the field of roads maintenance. Conduct and facilitate construction meetings, internal progress meetings, coordination meetings. Estimate quantitates and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine roads maintenance project feasibility. Reviews materials take offs to ensure all materials required for the job are available prior to start of the work. Develop good working knowledge of contract terms and ensures Contractor compliance with contract terms & conditions. Provide technical advice to personnel regarding design and construction. Direct engineering activities ensuring compliance with RoK, TCO, safety and other technical requirements and standards. Participation in review, qualification and selection of contractors and suppliers. Road repairs plan development, coordination with all stakeholders and TCO groups, communication with various stakeholders on safety improvement of projects, including Zhylyoi Region government officials. SoW, Cost Estimates developing, STARS requests. Providing Cost Controller with Budget Accruals/Forecast. Providing requestors with technical conditions on activities along the roads and transportation of oversize and heavy weight cargos. Contractor’s personnel monitoring in terms of safety and other RoK and TCO requirements. Supports TCO departments for road infrastructure queries as SME. Taking part in review of accuracy of As-Build documentation supplied by Contractors. Reporting to Team Lead, Tengiz Services Superintendent.

Higher level education in road construction / civil engineering / construction management from a University or a Technical institute is highly desired Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience in roads construction / construction. Experience may be in construction projects / construction management / quality control. Working knowledge of industry codes governing work in construction / roads construction discipline. Experience working at Tengiz field. Citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Must have Kazakhstan’s driving license (category B).
