Transport Specialist role is to reduce the risks to staff and visitors whilst undertaking journeys into Atyrau or within the wider Kazakhstan through introducing a more robust and proactive travel management process Transport Specialist is responsible for the arrangement, management and monitoring of all land transportation requirements both internal staff and external Project visitors in Atyrau. In addition, they are responsible for monitoring all journeys in Kazakhstan other than those undertaken in the direct operational areas of Tengiz, Almaty and Aktau. • Provision of ground transportation in Atyrau • Coordination FGP drivers (ESS & Umirzak) • Timely reporting of any project motor vehicle accident and incident & personal injury • Coordinating logistics of all overseas project team members, VIP and other visitors • Coordinating with Agencies on transportation issues & activities between Atyrau, Tengiz, FB, Almaty, Aktau • Communication on any changes in transportation arrangements, etc.
5+ years’ experience of transport management programs. Previous experience of control/operations room working practices. Previous experience of dealing with customers. Computer skills (Microsoft package). Problem solving and judgement Verbal communication skills Experienced and skilled at organization and planning Ability to work independently and under own initiative
