Terms and Conditions
Become familiar with the activities of the multi-discipline quantity surveying (QS) and carrying out the measurement and preparation of quantity information ensuring QS data is received, and stored, in both hard and soft copies and available for audit.
Monitor contractor’s daily reports and recording in QS logs information on installed quantities required for evaluation of the contractor’s monthly invoice accounts having received signed endorsement from GPD discipline supervisors and/or Superintendent.
Agree re-measurement values with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers and ensure consistent and fair interpretation and application of contract terms and conditions involving GPD discipline supervisors and/or Superintendent for having consolidated re-measurement assessment.
Engineer knowledge: engineering / construction knowledge in the engineer activity of quantity surveying;
Contracting: ability to work within multi-national and multi-cultural environments, and the understanding of the client role;
Microsoft packages, with strong emphasis on Excel;
Good communication skills (written and verbal) in English,
Mathematical analytical skills;
Ability to identify and manage urgent requirements in a positive, methodical manner;
