Performs welding work on extra complicated vessels, assemblies, structures and pipelines made of carbon, alloyed, high-alloyed steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals, also has skills in semi-automatic and automatic welding. Knows the fundamental design of control circuits for welding power supplies. Compiles operations plan in accordance with welding procedure specification (WPS). Knows the basic WPS used in TCO. Is capable of studying and identifying the important information in the new WPS certified in Chevron and TCO. Understands the process of the new WPS certification and is ready to participate in preparing PQR (Procedure Qualification Record). Understands and implements his key role in a welding team.
