Terms and Conditions
• Develop the work processes to ensure that all required metadata has been translated. Make suggestions to improve value of development processes if required. • Employee will be requested to support additional work activities when needed to ensure project requirements are met. • Do written translation of non-critical correspondence, instructions, reports, technical and other documentation. • Provide interpretation at across-level meetings and events. • Assigned to different departments at the discretion of the management. • Cover other translator positions during their absence. • Provide CMS training for FGP CMS end-users.
• University-level Linguistic Education and work experience of minimum 2+ years as a translator • Candidate for this level must have a certificate on completion of at least one simultaneous translation course • Proven work experience in the field of translation, localization or copy editing • Advanced command of grammar and stylistics of both languages • Knowledge of technical and administrative terminology used in department/discipline • Basic command of main translation transformations • Good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio etc.) • Knowledge of CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) software is preferred • Experience in working with the databases
